Still the Fastest Surface in the NFL

This past weekend, John Ross was crowned the new king of the 40-yard dash after posting an astonishing time of 4.22. Ross dethroned the reigning champ, Chris Johnson, who had his time of 4.24 stand for over 8 years.

The only thing faster than Ross’ time was his rise to fame. Moments after clocking in his time, praise and admiration came raining down from current and former NFLers, fans and celebrities.

**NEW KING, SAME KINGDOM **

FieldTurf has been the trusted surface of the Indianapolis Colts’ Lucas Oil Stadium since it’s opening and former RCA Dome from 2005-2008. The same surface to see Ross’ and Johnson’ blazing performances, has been at the underfoot of thousands of famous combine workouts, most notably Calvin Johnson (2007), Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie (2008), Dontari Poe (2012) and Robert Griffin III (2012).

A FAMILIAR FACE

Ross, Pac-12 Player of the Year (2016), is accustomed to performing on FieldTurf’s leading surface technology. The four-star recruit, California native, committed to the University of Washington in 2013 and totaled over 1,700 yards and 22 touchdowns, despite sitting out the entire 2015 season.

The Huskies practice and play on FieldTurf.
