Infill Solutions

Not only does infill provide safety protection with appropriate cushioning to absorb impact, but it also sets the foundation for a field’s performance level by offering traction for players to cut, plant and release — just the same as they would on natural grass. With the vast amount of alternative infill options available (cork, olives, thermoplastics…), it’s key to ensure that the material has been tested and performs in the long-term for your program. All FieldTurf infill materials meet or exceed the stringent EN 71-3 requirements used in validating the safety of children’s toys and materials.

Ambient SBR
Ambient SBR

Ambient (SBR) Rubber is an environmental, cost-efficient, and durable solution that has withstood the test of time. Processed through a rubber cracker mill at ambient temperature, the result is a more jagged rubber granule than its cryogenic cousin, creating a looser infill with air pockets which can lead to infill migration.

Cryogenic SBR
Cryogenic SBR

Cryogenic (SBR) rubber is the cleanest, highest grade of rubber granule. Ground-up recycled tires are cryogenically frozen then shattered into small, smooth-edged particles. This smooth shape facilitates a consistent flow of water through the infill without raising and displacing any rubber while allowing rubber and sand to remain in suspension in a layered system - the optimal mix for a safe and consistent playing surface.

Coated SBR
Coated SBR

Coated SBR is produced from black SBR granules that are surrounded by a layer of green or brown Polyurethane resin. It forms a protective layer that improves the aesthetic of your pitch and reduces regular SBR disadvantages.

Pro-Gran
Pro-Gran

Pro-Gran is a premium coated SBR rubber infill with a newly developed and highly durable polyurethane coating. It is produced from black SBR granules that are surrounded by a premium layer of green or brown Polyurethane resin. It forms a protective layer that improves the aesthetic of your pitch and reduces regular SBR disadvantages.

PureFill (Cork)
PureFill (Cork)

PureFill infill is a natural cork infill that is environment friendly and non-toxic. It is a recyclable and sustainable product that is harvested from the cork oak tree every nine years, without harming the trees.
It provides a natural soil aesthetic to your pitch and significatively reduces heat on the surface.

PureSelect (Olives)
PureSelect (Olives)

PureSelect is a 100% organic infill made from European olive cores. It is is fully recyclable and can be reused in another field.
On the pitch, PureSelect’s natural aesthetics, the fact that it is odourless, that it reduces heat on the surface and the low “splash” effects of the infill are all factors that will be appreciated by the players, as well as simplifying maintenance for the club / community.

ProMax
ProMax

FieldTurf ProMax is a PE infill 100% made of virgin material. Our in-house german manufacture uses the same raw materials and polyethylene blend used in our synthetic turf fibers to deliver a high quality infill.

ProMax HydroFlex
ProMax HydroFlex

FieldTurf ProMax HydroFlex is made of 70% of the same virgin polymers as our high quality turf fibers combined with up to 30% of PE from recycled turf fibers from end-of-life pitches, resulting in an eco-friendly, non-floating infill delivering the high performances your players deserve.

EPDM
EPDM

Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) granules are manufactured from virgin synthetic rubber from post-industrial recycled products. These reclaimed materials are round-up to create a new, clean, ecofriendly infill and another alternative to crumb rubber.

TPE

TPE (ThermoPlastic Elastomer) is a virgin material infill available and 100% recyclable and reusable. TPE granules granules deliver an impact absorbing infill that offers safe and comfortable performance.
