UNIVERSITY OF LOUISVILLE CHOOSES FIELDTURF YET AGAIN FOR CARDINAL FOOTBALL AND BASEBALL

LOUISVILLE, KY (June 25, 2013) – FieldTurf has been selected as the turf of choice for the University of Louisville football and baseball programs yet again after the Cardinals had been playing on their first FieldTurf field for a decade. The football and baseball programs will continue playing on the latest FieldTurf products for many years to come.

“We have had FieldTurf on our game fields for many years and can honestly say that FieldTurf is the highest performing turf system we have ever played on – both for football and baseball,” said University of Louisville Vice-President and Director of Athletics Tom Jurich. “The FieldTurf CoolPlay system offers a cooler playing surface to improve the safety of our players for football. Also, we feel the FieldTurf DoublePlay Classic baseball system plays more like a natural ballfield than anything else we have seen.”
