Gators Stay Out of the Rain and Move Indoors

Cancelled practices will be a thing of the past for the Florida Gators. The university recently completed the construction of their new indoor facility. The project was finalized in early September, and is valued at over 15 million dollars. Plagued by poor weather and scorching heat at fall camp in years past, the construction of an indoor facility was a top priority for the University of Florida. Totaling at over 95K sq. ft., the facility was modeled after Ben Hill Griffin Stadium, better known as “The Swamp”, to replicate home field gameplay.

For their new field, UF opted for FieldTurf’s Classic HD system, renowned for durability, performance and proven safety.
