Edited transcript of Jeff Ray, Lead Superintendent for Tilden-Coil, discussing the involvement of Tarkett Sport at Ontario Sports Empire, which features 20 artificial turf fields from FieldTurf.

"From the beginning, they were involved with us in creating a schedule. We kind of created it around Tarket, because they knew how long it would take, and you know what it's going to take to get it done. And so, they've been our partners since the beginning.

I think they're going to be amazed by just the size of it. The biggest reaction from most people when they get here, they're just like ‘oh my…wow’.

It's about 190 acres. It's got 20 fields, eight soccer fields, four football fields, and eight baseball diamonds. It's also got 14 buildings with the concession stands, service buildings, maintenance buildings to support the fields, large parking lots, and we have also a large parking structure going in to accommodate all the people around here.

I think the daily communication with Tarket Sports has been the key to this being successful. I think it means a lot to be picked by the city for them to go with Tarket Sports. We've seen their professionalism, you know, working with them. I can see why they were picked.

I'd say that they're great. They'd definitely be my first pick. Easy to work with, very organized, and professional. Their crews on-site are professional. They do a great job. They're safe. You can tell the experience is there. They know what they're doing.

They're definitely a valued partner. You know, now working with them, I can see why the city chose them to do this project."
