Decade-Long Partnership Strengthened Between Air Force & FieldTurf
Falcon Stadium, located on the campus of the U.S. Air Force Academy, was initially converted from grass to FieldTurf in 2006. After 12 years of use, officials opted to replace the existing surface which is home to the Falcons’ football & lacrosse programs and annual graduations. The Academy recently unveiled their new surface featuring FieldTurf’s Classic HD system.
With additional surfaces at Cadet Lacrosse Stadium, Air Force Soccer Stadium, Falcon Baseball Field, Holaday Athletic Center and Cadet Field House, FieldTurf and the U.S. Air Force Academy have forged a powerful longstanding relationship.
“For FieldTurf to be installed yet again on the grounds of the U.S. Air Force Academy is an honor for our company and we are all very committed to continue to provide long-lasting high performance playing surfaces for the cadets.” said FieldTurf President Eric Daliere.

FieldTurf is the surface of choice for the U.S. Air Force Academy, U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy and U.S. Coast Guard Academy.
In the Mountain West Conference, FieldTurf is the surface of choice for 7 of the 12 programs: Air Force Academy, Boise State University, San Diego State University, University of Wyoming, University of New Mexico, Fresno State University and University of Nevada.
