Broyles Award Announces Partnership with FieldTurf As 2021-2022 High School Broyles Award Presenting Sponsor

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (December 6, 2021) – The High School Broyles Award is proud to partner with FieldTurf, a division of the Tarkett Sports family. FieldTurf is a worldwide leader in sports surfacing systems, with over 25,000 installations worldwide. FieldTurf has already shown strong commitment to the High School Broyles Award mission, and we could not ask for a better partner to work with and support high school coaches nationwide.

“We’re honored to have the opportunity to support the Frank & Barbara Broyles Foundation and the Broyles Award. The role an assistant coach plays in football is of paramount importance for the athletes, the program, and the sport. It’s a great privilege to help give back and honor the individuals that truly make a difference. They merit a grand celebration,” said Eric Daliere, President of Tarkett North America & Tarkett Sports.

FieldTurf will be the presenting sponsor for the 2021 High School Broyles Award Honoree Dinner to be held on Monday, December 6 in Little Rock, coinciding with the annual collegiate Broyles Award ceremony. This event will honor the High School Broyles Award Class of 2021:

  • Paul Willingham – Defensive Coordinator, Ennis High School - Texas
  • Mark Kelley – Offensive Coordinator, Conway High School - Arkansas
  • Scott Goolsby – Defensive Coordinator, Auburn High School - Alabama
  • Todd Bonnewell – Defensive Line, Edmond Santa Fe High School - Oklahoma
  • Brian Nix – Defensive Coordinator, Alcoa High School - Tennessee

In 2022, FieldTurf will preside over a new class of over 40 states, with a full nationwide contingent of 50 states expected in 2023.

About the High School Broyles Award
In 2018, the Broyles Award added to their 26-year tradition of honoring the nation’s best collegiate assistant football coaches through the creation of the High School Broyles Award and the participation of three states. This award honors the top high school assistant football coach in every participating state, projecting their excellence onto the national stage. Past winners such as Doc Crowley (AR, 2019) and Casey Pearce (TX, 2019) have benefitted from partnership with the High School Broyles Award, as both assistant coaches became head coaches.

About the Broyles Award
The Broyles Award was created in 1996 recognizing Coach Frank Broyles’ legacy of selecting and developing great assistants during his almost two decades as head coach at Arkansas. You can follow the Broyles Award on Facebook and Twitter.
