PRACTICING ON FIELDTURF LEADS TO NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

PASADENA, CA – FieldTurf congratulates the Florida State Seminoles on their incredible win against Auburn at the BCS National Championship. The Seminoles, who are ranked #1 at 14-0, were down 21-3 at the half and rallied back for a 34-31 win. It was a great game for Heisman Trophy winner Jameis Winston, who led his team with an impressive drive with 79 seconds left in the game.

The Seminoles, who also had FieldTurf Revolution installed at their new indoor practice facility in the summer of 2013, had a perfect season, winning all their games by large margins. Auburn was by far their biggest challenge but the Seminoles pulled through in the second half to bring the championship back to Tallahassee, Florida. The Seminoles are national champions for the first time since 1999, and become the first team to win the BCS National Championship game after being down at halftime.
