Boise State Trusts FieldTurf Again for Albertsons Stadium
After a decade of play on FieldTurf, Boise State has opted to replace the iconic blue turf at Albertsons Stadium. FieldTurf and Boise State have collaborated together on several athletic facilities since converting the stadium in 2008. Officials opted for the renowned FieldTurf Classic HD system for the Broncos’ new playing surface. Installation is planned to be completed prior to the start of the 2019 fall football practices.
idahostatesman.com reported that the award was made after the university compared bids from (4) artificial turf suppliers: FieldTurf, AstroTurf, Sprinturf and Hellas Construction.
